WOMEN'S DEFENSIVE SHOOTING

Service Description

• Women-focused defensive handgun course taught in a safe, supportive environment. • Requires completion of a basic firearms course or demonstration of equivalent skills to a GGF instructor. • Introduces firearms as one part of a broader personal self-defense strategy, with emphasis on mindset, awareness, judgment, and responsible decision-making. • Covers universal firearm-safety rules, handgun operation, responsible handling, and appropriate use. • Includes instructor demonstrations of defensive movement, creating distance, moving toward safety, and responding to an imminent threat when other options are exhausted. • Offers optional, cooperative practice adapted to participants’ comfort, mobility, and experience. • Helps participants identify risks, choose lawful and proportionate responses, evaluate defensive-tool options, and improve accuracy and control. • Aims to build confidence and improve preparedness for recognizing, avoiding, or responding to real-life threats. • Does not guarantee personal safety or eliminate the need for continued practice.
